The term "Capuliatu" in Sicilian dialect has the meaning of grinded. According to tradition, this method of preserving dried tomatoes involve grinding and seasoning with oil and parsley. In this recipe, we use our Nocellara olive oil, an oil with intense and balanced aromas.
Ingredients
Sun-dried tomatoes, tomato sauce, Frantoi Cutrera extra virgin olive oil, sugar, salt, parsley, oregano, chili pepper.
Uses
Excellent as an appetizer on bruschetta or crostone. Also recommended for seasining first courses and pies.
