Typical Sicilian recipe par excellence, our sauce alla Norma is prepared with eggplant fried in extra virgin olive oil, which makes frying healthier and tastier.
Ingredients
Tomato sauce, eggplant, Frantoi Cutrera extra virgin olive oil, onion, salt, sugar, basil, chili pepper. Acid: citric acid.
Uses
Heat for two minutes. Perfect with pasta (paccheri). Complete the recipe with a drizzle of raw olive oil and grated salted ricotta.
